- Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Adil Taqi said the day marked Muriya's first official handing over of apartments. "This symbolic event is the culmination of our meticulous planning and dedicated efforts to provide a benchmark for luxury apartments in the country. We have pooled our resources and expertise to cater to our clients who seek that much more from their homes, especially for a relaxed weekend in the lap of nature," he pointed out.
- Ali Habsi received keys to the ground floor of block 18, which opens up to a scenic feast of mountains, the marina and the sea. Here he is treated to a sublime tryst with nature as the relaxed ambience within the apartment and the natural environment around the project are just right for a healthy dose of nature and relaxation.
- During a previous visit around the property, and after an up close look at his apartment, the star goalkeeper had commented on the ideal location of the Muriya property, which makes it appear to be cocooned amidst the imposing Hajjar Mountains, with the serenading Sea in the vicinity. Spacious interiors and the aesthetic décor of the apartment add to the inspiring locale, he had noted. Expressing his thrill and excitement after the formal handover of his apartment, which was on schedule, he said, "I am waiting to move to my new Jebel Sifah abode soon; it promises to be a haven of relaxation. I would love to soak in the serene ambience around the project area. It looks as if it has been modeled to provide a nature-break for those stressed out from workload that the city spells. I am delighted and can't wait to move into this beautiful address."
- Ali Habsi, who is currently playing in the premier league, expressed his gratitude to Muriya for the cherished gift of a home following his stellar role in the 19th Gulf Cup. "This is a very prestigious gift and one that I hold dear," he said, adding that he would encourage his fellow football players and fans in Europe to invest in such well designed properties.
- It may be recalled here that this luxury two-bedroom apartment was a token of Muriya Tourism Development Company's appreciation of Ali Al Habsi's performance during 19th Gulf Cup. Muriya was the only official Omani partner of the GCC 19 in the tourism development category and awarded Al Jazeera 'Best Players Awards' to the three top players of the GCC 19.
- Jabel Sifah is a prime destination; located a mere 45 minute drive from the capital Muscat. It is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hajjar Mountains and the sea.
- Residents can look forward to the 18-hole golf course, Marina, the Marina Town and a host of shops, cafes and restaurants. It will be home to Missoi hotel, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts – Angsana Resorts & Spas and Sifawy Boutique Hotel.
- Muriya was established in 2006 when Egypt's Orascom Hotels and Development (with 70 per cent stake) and Omani government owned Omran (with 30 per cent stake) came together in a joint venture. Since then, Muriya has announced four ambitious projects across the beautiful locales of Oman. Two of the ongoing projects are integrated tourism complexes (ITCs) offering freehold properties – 'Jebel Sifah' and 'Salalah Beach'. In addition, Muriya also has extensive plans to develop a 'City walk' in Muscat and work is ongoing on the boutique hotel on 'As Sodah Island'.
