New menu and attractions at 'As Sammak' Restaurant
  • 'As Sammak' seafood restaurant, the most impressive landmark on Sifah beach, has introduced a new menu with dishes created from local catches, to cater to its ever-growing clientele. Calamari, fish, prawns, lobster, etc., feature prominently in the new menu, designed on the lines of 'less is more' – less fuss on variety and more on quality & portions.
  • As Sammak, meaning "the fisherman" was opened in September 2010 as a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Muriya Tourism Development. Located in the vicinity of Jebel Sifah, Muriya's integrated tourism development complex, it is operated and managed by the Sifawy Boutique Hotel and sources most of the staff and supplies from Sifah, creating job opportunities for the local community and assuring fresh catch for its patrons.

  • The scenic charm of Jebel Sifah adds to the magic of dining out in style at this restaurant, which is easily accessible from the main road. According to Hamed Al Rashdi, Restaurant Manager, "The natural splendor of Sifah and the culinary delights of the restaurant blend easily to present a unique experience to our patrons. Our new menu, designed on the lines of 'less is more', is a guaranteed winner." Pegged on to this new menu are other added attractions like weekend water sports and boat trips, introduced in its weekend specials package to make Sifah an attractive weekend destination. In addition, weekend site visits by boat to Jebel Sifah Marina is also on offer. Although the restaurant is currently open between 12.00 to 18.00 hours, special group bookings, with special group rates can be made for evening service upon request.
